Hello and welcome to my website. I am Beth, a Yorkshire based wedding photographer with a passion for photographing people and their stories.

My approach overall is more of a documentary and candid style of photography. My style when photographing your day is to allow the day to unfold around me rather than create the scenes myself. I am still friendly and approachable, and know that family members may ask me for a certain photo with loved ones; however, I get the most joy in capturing what I see rather than staging shots.

That said, I love working closely with people so I will take the couple to one side for photos during the day, mostly allowing you to get some time to yourselves and breathe… I’ll just happen to be there as well. I keep these sessions short and sweet to allow you to get back to enjoying your day… you didn’t plan your wedding day just to exclusively hang out with me no matter how well we get along.

Most of all, I aim to capture the atmosphere and emotions of the wedding. So your photos are something for you to look back on and remember how the day felt as well as looked. That is my approach to wedding photography.
